Britney Spears has regained her title as the most searched term on Yahoo’s search engine.

Yahoo said on Thursday that the birth of her son Sean helped propel the pop princess back to the top.

Spears has topped Yahoo’s annual list of most searched terms for three of the last four years. She was beat just once by American Idol in 2004.

This year’s top 10 were show-business figures, showing how fixated people are on pop culture icons, said Erik Gunther who compiles the list for Yahoo.

The next most popular searches, in order, are 50 Cent, the Cartoon Network, Mariah Carey, Green Day, Jessica Simpson, Paris Hilton, Eminem, Ciara and Lindsay Lohan.
