Sex and the City #2?
Writer and female TV show goddess Candace Bushnell has decided to give us another taste of her sassy side.
Known for her creation, Sex and the City, Bushnell?s new book, ?Lipstick Jungle,” is being turned into a TV series.
NBC has bought the rights to the book which is about three New York career women, says the Hollywood Reporter.
Bushnell originally wrote Sex and the City, which was adapted for TV by HBO, as a newspaper column.
“Sex and the City was about looking for Mr. Big and trying to find him,” Bushnell said. “This is about women trying to become their own Mr. Big for themselves.”
Producer Robin Schiff says the show is about ?powerful women.? Bushnell seems to make this a running theme throughout her novels.
Whether is be sexual power or power in the workplace, Bushnell gives it all to the women.
Lipstick Jungle tells the story of the lives of a film producer, a fashion designer and a magazine executive, who all feature in the top 20 of a fictional newspaper list of New York’s most powerful women.
Keep ?em coming Candace!
