Clarkson Treats Fans to Free Show
Kelly Clarkson is treating fans who saw her perform earlier this year at UC Berkeley’s Greek Theatre to a free concert.
Clarkson played the show on Sept. 4 with bronchitis and was forced to give an acoustic set.
Though no complaints were made about the concert, she still feels her fans deserve to see her at her best.
“I was really sick and I wanted the opportunity to perform for you again at my best,” Clarkson said in an email sent by Ticketmaster to those who attended the September concert. “Consider this my personal invitation for you to come see my show on December 21st at San Jose’s HP Pavilion as my special guests. The tickets are on me!”
Those who were at the Berkeley Greek Theatre must order the complimentary tickets under the same name for the San Jose concert and can only order the same amount of tickets are originally ordered.
Additional tickets cost $49.50 plus convenience fees.
Five shows on the Hazel Eyes Tour were postponed after the Greek Theatre stop and Clarkson will return to those cities after Dec. 10 to honour tickets. One exception: the Santa Barbara concert will be postponed until next summer since it’s outdoors.
