Rocker Liz Phair is embracing technology while on the road in support of her latest album, ?Somebody?s Miracle.?

“I’m all about podcasting,” Phair told Billboard.com. “I’m totally fixated on it. It’s what I’m into. We usually do a couple of live songs and then there are interviews. We’re going to do it every Friday. It might be a little late here and there, but pretty much (it’s up) every Friday.”

Devoted fans will never miss a beat as they follow Phair virtually on her web site, lizphair.com. The singer?s first two podcasts featured live performances of fan favourites, including the unreleased track, ?Table for One,? as well as an interview, a reading of a piece of original short fiction, and fun clips from the road. Last week, Phair took fans on a “soundseeing tour” of a bus breakdown, while the debut podcast included conversations with Phair?s brother.

?It’s like having my own little radio show. I think it’s great,? said Phair. We listen to all of the (National Public Radio) stuff on Sundays. It’s kind of like having my own version.”
