Janet Jackson?s former brother-in-law claims the singer has a secret daughter named Renee.

Janet Jackson, 39, and James DeBarge were married for less than 3 months when Jackson was 18. They annulled the marriage a year later. During their marriage, they had a teenage daughter, Renee, now 18 years old who lives with Jackson?s older sister Rebbie.

This information comes from Young DeBarge, younger brother of James, during an interview on Friday with New York radio station HOT 97.

During the interview DeBarge said, ?James and the Jackson family kept everything real close, real tight,? reports MSNBC.com.

?No one really knew how it was working out until things kind of surfaced,? he said.

When asked how Renee feels about her mother, Young said, ?I think there’s a little despondence. She hasn’t really revealed that, but I’m sure that there are some feelings there. It’s only natural that you wonder about what is and how it’s come to be that way,” reports spotlightingnews.com.

Jackson is now dating Jermaine Dupri, while DeBarge recently finished an album.
