Pictures of Britney Spears’ newborn baby were apparently stolen from a private photo shoot and appeared on the internet. Spears is threatening to take legal action.

Pictures on at least two web sites show Spears embracing her child and include a family portrait, according to the AP.

According to a statement from Jive Records, Spears’ label, the photos were swiped from a private photo session.

“Anyone who publishes, sells or otherwise exploits any of these images in any way will be subject to liability and damages for willful infringement of copyright, and will be liable for invasion of privacy,” the statement read.

Spears and her husband, Kevin Federline, made their first public appearance recently after the infant was born, yet there have not been any clear images of the baby until now.

The famous singer gave birth to her first child last month.
