My Chemical Romance Releasing CD/DVD Set
My Chemical Romance is set to release a CD/DVD set chronicling their whirlwind rise to fame over the past 12 months, according to MTV.
Entitled “Life on the Murder Scene,” the CD part of the combo will feature rare tracks and demos, while the DVD will feature videos, live performances, online content and a video diary that follows the band’s progress since its inception.
MCR’s record label, Reprise, says the package will be released sometime early next year.
With a winning mix of goth and punk, the New Jersey band’s breakthrough album, “Three Cheers for Revenge,” has gone platinum in the U.S. MCR is currently headlining its first arena tour in the States, which will end in Baltimore on Oct. 21.
