Eminem’s Greatest Hits Album To Come Out In December
Eminem has announced plans to release a greatest hits package, “Curtain Call.” The album is set for release on December 6.
Eminem, 32, whose real name is Marshall Mathers III, is putting the final touches on “Curtain Call,” with the help of his longtime collaborator Dr. Dre.
“I have some songs that a lot of people like,” he said in a release. “I have some songs that only I like. This album is obviously for the `lot’ of people.”
The album will include such songs as “My Name Is,” “The Way I Am,” “Lose Yourself” and “Stan.”
It also will include “at least two all-new, previously unavailable, so-fresh-from-the-studio-we-aren’t-even-giving-you-the-song-title songs,” states Interscope Records.
Two months ago, Eminem entered Brighton Hospital to undergo treatment for sleep medication dependency just days after he cancelled his European tour.
He remained at the facility for three weeks, sources told the Free Press, and spent an additional three weeks in the hospital’s outpatient program, with treatment wrapping up in late September, reports freep.com.
