Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit is an appropriate name for the box office hit from Aardman Animations.

The curse seemed to have stuck to its creators and struck studios in Britain on Monday, when I fire set ablaze.
Images, props, and entire catalogs for Wallace & Gromit and Morph, were lost to the flames.

Company spokesman Arthur Sheriff grieved, “Today was supposed to be a day of celebration, with the news that Wallace & Gromit had gone in at number one at the US box office, but instead our whole history has been wiped out.?

Wallace & Gromit creator Nick Park, seemed less dramatic.

Park explained that compared with yesterday’s devastating earthquake in Pakistan, the loss is no such devestation. “Even though it is a precious and nostalgic collection and valuable to the company, in light of other tragedies, today isn’t a big deal.”

Sets from A Grand Day Out, The Wrong Trousers and A Close Shave are all seemingly destroyed, along with those from Chicken Run – Aardman’s first feature-length release.

However, the curse decided to leave a bit of silver lining to it?s bad luck streak– sets and models from the latest Wallace & Gromit movie were not archived in the studio yet, and were spared from the blaze.

So What?

That poor clay dog! I mean who wants to walk in on that mess. Melted clay everywhere!

I imagine that the studio janitor is going to hate his job for the next few weeks.
