Probst to Leave Survivor?
Jeff Probst, host of the long-running reality show Survivor, wants to leave the show once his contract ends, according to Inside TV.
The contract, which Probst signed several years ago, expires after Survivor’s twelfth season, which will be aired in early 2006.
He mentioned his desire to settle down with Survivor: Vanuatu girlfriend Julie Berry, and to get a job which doesn?t involve travelling.
However, for those who can?t get enough of hearing Probst say “the tribe has spoken,” you can (probably) breathe a little easier. Although he did tell reporters that his desire to start a family would make signing another long-term contract pretty much impossible, he gave no suggestion that he wouldn?t be interested in signing a shorter one.
“I’ve got to be asked back first. I have a good relationship [with the show] and I don’t know why they wouldn’t, but they haven’t [asked me back yet,]” Probst explained.
