Raptors Trade Alston; Acquire James
In a move that should shock none, the Toronto Raptors have traded head-case Rafer Alston to the Houston Rockets for guard Mike James, according to a press release on Tuesday.
James, who went undrafted, has played for 5 teams in his NBA tenure, and brings a career average of 12 PPG and 4 APG to the befuddled Raptors. He should fit well into the kind of system coach Sam Mitchell and GM Rob Babcock are trying to build.

?I can?t believe they traded him so soon after signing him! Mike James hasn?t even proven himself a reliable starter in the NBA.? – Hector G., Toronto
?Mike James is a great defender, should help our team in ways Alston couldn?t. It?s also addition by subtraction.? ? Zane B., Ajax
?We lose talent, but gain attitude.? ? Michelle D., Toronto
?If Rafer had problems with Vince, he?s not going to be much better with Tracy McGrady. Good riddance!? ? Jon R., Oakville
