Chesney Says to Fans, I’m OK
Kenny Chesney’s next big hit could be inspired by the recent break up from his wife, Renee Zellweger.
According to AP, Chesney assured fans he’ll be okay, less than a week after Zellweger filed for an annulment from the country music star.
“I’m alright, I’m good. There have been better times, but I’ll be ok,” he told Country Weekly magazine.
The “Bridget Jones” actress cited fraud as the reason for the split, after four months of marriage.
Chesney and Zellweger wed in May in the Caribbean.
Overall, it’s been a good year for Chesney, despite the case of heartache both stars are probably facing. After a successful year of touring, he produced a record he says is really important to him.
Chesney, 37, was also named Country Music Association entertainer of the year in November and “When the Sun Goes Down” was named album of the year.
Too bad nobody can be the be all.
