R&B singer Massari will take part in the “Gift of Life 5km Walk for Leukemia” next Sunday in Toronto.

He will perform for the walkers and spectators on Sunday, September 25, at the Kortright Centre. Massari will also meet with the top teen fundraiser.

The first walk was held in 2002 with co-operation from the Princess Margaret Hospital. The “Gift of Life” committee was formed by family and friends of a loved one who was diagnosed with leukemia.

All proceeds raised by individual pledges are donated to The Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation for the fight against Leukemia.

Last year, 2000 walkers raised almost $200,000. The goal this year is to surpass the $200,000 mark.
