Paris Hilton Phone Hacker Receives 11-Month Sentence
A 17 year old boy is responsible for hacking into Paris Hilton’s cell phone, according to the Associated Press.
The teen, whose identity cannot be revealed under law, was sentenced to 11 months in a juvenile facility.
Earlier this year, celebrity phone numbers stored in Hilton’s cell phone were posted online when her account was hacked into.
The unidentified boy pled guilty to nine counts of juvenile delinquency last week in a US District Court in Boston, including hacking into Internet and telephone service providers and theft of personal information and posting it on the Web.
He’s also been charged with two bomb threats to high schools in Florida and Massachusettes within a 15 month period.
Following custody, the teen will be placed under two years of supervised release.
