There’s one less celebrity bachelor in this world.

“Good Will Hunting” star Matt Damon is reportedly engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Luciana Barroso, according to US Weekly.

Damon’s publicist told the magazine after two years of dating, he proposed, “shortly before Labour Day.”

A date for the wedding has not been confirmed. However,it will be the first marriage for the actor, who turns 35 next month. Barroso has a 6-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.

His most recent film, “The Brothers Grimm” has just been released and he’s involved in at least three other projects to be released next year.

In another story from monstersandcritics.com, Damon confessed he is looking forward to becoming a father and being a stepfather to Barroso’s daughter, Alexa.

“I am definitely a little broody. I definitely want kids. I don’t know when, but I do know it’s something I want.”
