Eminem Sued By Aunt and Uncle
Eminem is being sued by his aunt and uncle for more than $350,000 and possession of their home from which they are being evicted.
Jack and Betty Schmitt are suing Eminem claiming the rapper is trying to evict them out of the house he built for them in Detroit.
The Schmitts moved from Missouri when Eminem asked them to move to Michigan, so they could watch over his daughter and his $5 million estate in 2002.
In return, Eminem agreed to pay them $100,000 a year for five years, and give them a house worth up to $350,000, the lawsuit states, according to Chart.
However, since the agreement, Eminem has only given them $165,000, the suit claims. Also, the Schmitts claim that Eminem never put the house under their name but kept it under his own. They recently received an eviction notice notifying them they must leave the property.
Eminem has not commented.
