Iconix Brand Group, Inc. announced it would continue its association with recently thinned out Nicole Richie for its Bongo brand.
The daughter of Lionel Richie will appear in the junior brand’s Fall 2005 print advertising campaign. However, the ?Simple Life? star will be sharing the spotlight this season, with none other than her fianc?– DJ AM.
Famed celebrity photographer, Moshe Brakha, shot the campaign, which debuts this September (Brakha also shot the Spring 2005 campaign featuring only Richie).
Richie and AM stated, “We are so excited to do the campaign together.”
Nicole continued, “I had done the campaign last season and I had so much fun and I loved they way the ads came out. I love Bongo because it’s really hot looking but at the same time it’s jeans and you can wear it all the time.”
Commenting on the new Men’s collection, DJ AM stated, “I am a jeans and t-shirt type of guy but I add my own style and flare and the new Bongo collection is perfect for me. In my line of work I need to be comfortable and I can DJ in these clothes any night of the week.”
Dari Marder, Creative Director, Bongo, describes the campaign, “Nicole and AM are the perfect Bongo couple. We asked them to act naturally and for them that meant a ton of P.D.A., as a result, many of the ads will feature them cuddling and kissing. Nicole and AM had a blast!”
Iconix?s in-house marketing team created the campaign. Richie and AM are scheduled to make public appearances on behalf of the brand.
