Nellie McKay is set to release her second album, “Pretty Little Head,” on October 18.

The CD will feature 23 songs, all written by McKay. In addition, McKay sings alongside Cyndi Lauper and k.d. lang in two of her songs. McKay can be heard playing the piano, cello, vibes and synthesizer.

Fans of McKay can also catch her on broadway next year opposite Alan Cumming and Edi Falco in Polly Peachum.
