Madonna plans to welcome Britney Spears’ baby with a Kabbalah ceremony and blessing.

The Material Girl has been following the mystical offshoot of Judaism for nine years, and, according to British newspaper The People, is eager to introduce Britney’s child to the religion with the blessing.

“Madge introduced her to the faith and Britney keeps ringing her to find out more,” says one source.

Britney will give birth in September, one month earlier than she previously let on. Her sister, Jamie-Lynn, broke the news on her website in a blog entry.

“I get to spend a lot of time with Britney. We are getting ready for the new baby’s arrival in September,” Jamie-Lynn said. “I can’t wait. I have been shopping so much for the baby and it is not even here yet.”
