Stones Name New CD a Bigger Bang
The Rolling Stones and longevity go hand in hand.
The group released the name of their upcoming album Tuesday, titled “A Bigger Bang,” an appropriate title for this veteran rock act.
This legendary band’s website indicates the title mirrors, “their fascination with the scientific theory about the origin of the universe.”
Due September 6th, die hard fans will get a chance to rock to the 16 track album and other classics a little earlier as the band kicks off its world tour at Fenway Park in Boston on August 21.
It’s been eight years since The Stones last released an album.
The much anticipated CD is said to be more of a collaborative effort between Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.
Jagger continues to dominate with his vocals but you’ll get a chance to hear Richards as he sings on two title tracks: This Place is Empty and Infamy.
The Stones are currently preparing for their tour in Toronto-one of their favourite cities and home base to tour manager, Michael Cohl.
The tour will cover 35 cities across the globe and is said to last a year.
