Interview: Shout Out Louds Ignoring Hype

A blessing for some bands is an inconvenience for the Shout Out Louds.
The five members of the Swedish band are simple folk, who just want to make music and play their tunes around the world. They don’t need to be recognized on the street to gain a sense of accomplishment.
So when critics start raving about their album, “Howl Howl Gaff Gaff;” and David Letterman calls to book them on his show; and NME calls them the best new band at Coachella…
Those are things they have to deal with.
The Shout Out Louds are currently touring North America, and recently took some time to speak with andPOP. Watch the interview to see them speak about everything from the sound of Swedish music to the correct pronunciation of Howl Howl Gaff Gaff.
