Sienna Miller will take a break from acting on stage after Jude Law’s confession of infidelity has left her heartbroken.

andPOP previously reported that Miller, 23, broke down in tears at the end of the play, Shakespeare?s “As You Like It”, on Monday night.

A notice has since been posted outside London’s Wyndham Theatre alerting ticket holders that understudy Denise Gough will take over for Miller, IMDB.com reports.

The producers have no idea when Miller will return.

Director David Lan says “one of the reasons is that she’s had rather a rough time with her private life being under such scrutiny.”

Law, 32, has publically apologized to Miller after having an affair with Daisy Wright, 26, three months into their seven-month engagement. Miller has been photographed this week without her engagement ring.

A friend tells Britain’s Daily Mirror, “She can’t face the world. The full implications of Jude’s betrayal have now hit home. She’s in bits. It’s like there’s been a death in the family.”
