Usher Opens Summer Camp for Kids
R&B superstar Usher has given his younger fans a new outlook on music and life, thanks to his latest project, Camp New Look.
Located in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, the camp will provide for 150 minority children from the ages of 8 to 18.
On the camp’s opening night, Usher was quoted as saying, “This is truly about the business side. You’re not going to learn it overnight but maybe, just maybe, you’ll learn enough to change your life.”
The 26 year old, whose full name is Usher Raymond, is a five time Grammy award winning artist, a successful business man and actor, just to name a few.
He says he feels blessed to give back to the community.
“It is very important for me to give back. Somebody has to look out for and protect our kids, and I feel blessed to be a blessing to someone else.”
