The original American Idol Kelly Clarkson has postponed two tour dates this week because of the hurricane which is brushing the coast of Florida.

Hurricane Dennis has already killed 32 people in Haiti and Cuba.

“After strong consideration for the safety of her fans, Kelly Clarkson has decided to postpone her upcoming scheduled performances in New Orleans, Louisiana and Pensacola, Florida,” a statement from her record label read.

She was rescheduled to perform in New Orleans on Sunday and Pensacola on Tuesday. The sold out shows will be rescheduled.
