Garth Brooks to Perform for Charity

Country megastar Garth Brooks is coming out of retirement – for one night only.
Brooks will be hosting a charity dinner for his Teammates for Kids Foundation, which benefits needy children. The event will take place July 15 at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas.
Each $500 contribution to the foundation secures one ticket for this exclusive event.
The evening will include cocktails, hors d’oeurves and a silent auction, before an exclusive performance by Brooks.
Brooks, who recently made headlines by proposing to fellow country star Trisha Yearwood, retired in 2000 and released his last album, Scarecrow, in 2001. He parted ways with Capitol Records in June after selling over 100 million albums with the label.
Brooks has always hinted at making a comeback once his youngest daughter, Allie, 9, turns 18.
