Zsa Zsa Gabor in Critical Condition
Zsa Zsa Gabor, the flashy former actress, underwent emergency surgery to clear a blocked artery after suffering an appearent stroke, her husband said, according to the AP.
Gabor, 88, is expected to return to her Bel-Air home in about three days, said her husband, Frederic von Anhalt.
The surgery lasted two hours Wednesday night.
“She’s in intensive care, critical but stable,” von Anhalt said, adding that Gabor is smiling but can’t talk.
Gabor became partially paralyzed after a 2002 car accident. She uses a wheelchair or a walker.
Von Anhalt is her ninth husband.
