His long hair and the way he manoevered a microphone rocked the house on American Idol, but there’s more to runner up Bo Bice than meets the eye. He’s a married rock n’ roller.

Bice, 29 tied the knot with his girlfriend of two years, Caroline Merrin Fisher, 24 in their hometown of Helena, Alabama. The news had slipped during an interview with MTV on Monday.

The couple reportedly met while Bice worked as a guitar store clerk. His then future wife worked at a restaurant nearby. Bice and Fisher wed June 15.

Although he didn’t win the fourth season of Idol, Bice’s version of “In your Heaven” has topped the number one spot on the charts, as opposed to winner Carrie Underwood.
