American Idol finalist Kimberley Locke will be showing off a new designer jean collection from Lane Bryant. The line, called Seven7, will be available starting July 11th throughout Lane Bryant stores.
Locke was chosen to represent the line due to her success during the Idol TV series and her success with her debut album, One Love, which included her hit single 8th World Wonder.
“Being in the public eye gives me the opportunity to show people that women who are just like me, who are curvy, voluptuous, and have full figures can be beautiful, too,” says Locke.
The Seven7 line of jeans will include special details such as whiskering, rhinestone embellishments and embroidered pockets, with an authentic vintage look. In addition, the jeans will feature darker colours and a stretch fabric to retain shape and maintain comfort. Moreover, expect an assortment of washes including Ink, Pacific and Thunder. Prices range from US$79.50 to US$99.50.
Seven7 will also feature a line of tops that can be worn with the jeans. These include sleeveless lace tops, printed wrap blouses, and embellished mesh tunics, ranging in price from US$49.50 to US$59.50.
“We are excited to have Kimberley Locke as the new spokeswoman for our Seven7(TM) jeans,” says Lorna Nagler, president of Lane Bryant. “We believe that Kimberley is a great talent and a great beauty who will be a perfect role model for our curvy customers.”
Fans of Locke can also meet her in store as she will be making special appearances at select Lane Bryant stores.
