Two weeks since his acquittal of child molestation charges, pop legend Michael Jackson has finally spoken to the public.

Jackson posted a statement on his web site, thanking his fans for their support.

“Without God, my children, my family and you, my fans, I could not have made it through,” said Jackson.

He had not been seen in public since the acquittal on June 13. His family and lawyers said Jackson is still resting in his Neverland Ranch, recovering emotionally.
