Toronto Film Festival’s Top 20 Unveiled
Two prize winning entries have been included in this week’s top 20 films for the Toronto International Film Festival.
Announced on Tuesday, Palme d’Or winning L’enfant, directed by brothers Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne, tells the story of a troubled man who must learn to become a father to his young infant, according to the Globe and Mail.
Cache (Hidden) is directed by Michael Haneke and reveals the tale of a man who receives videos from an anonymous source about his family. It won the Canne?s directors prize.
Festival co-director Noah Cowan says the titles represent personal favourites for Toronto programmers, describing them as “the cream of the festival circuit and highlights of the international cinema scene.”
