When Ozzy Osbourne’s wife Sharon heard Tom Cruise was squirted with a water gun by a comedian posing as a journalist, she vowed to help Cruise sue the TV crew who shot him with the water, Ananova.com reports.

The 42-year-old actor was in London’s Leicester Square on Sunday evening promoting his latest Steven Spielberg film, War of the Worlds, with his fiancee, Katie Holmes, when the mock journalist used a fake microphone to spray Cruise’s face with water.

Cruise was answering reporters’ questions in front of as many as 5,000 fans when the incident occurred.

As he wiped his face with a towel, Cruise turned to the faux journalist and asked, “Why would you do that?”

The prankster stood there mumbling while Crusie continued to say, “Do you like thinking less of people, is that it?”

Without a response the man turned to walk away when Cruise grabbed the man’s arm and said, “Don’t run away. That’s incredibly rude. I’m here giving you an interview and answering your questions, you do something really nasty. You’re a jerk.”

Later the man and his three-person camera crew who were working on a new comedy show for the British TV station Channel 4, were arrested by security guards but later released on bail.

The men were ordered to report to a central London police station on Monday.

Osbourne was also struck by the Channel 4 crew about three weeks ago outside a restaurant in London.

Contactmusic.com reports that Sharon got her revenge when she threw a bucket of water over the culprit.

She is also offering Cruise’s lawyers the paperwork from her incident and reportedly said, “I was really mortified that one adult could do that to another. I was totally stunned.”

Maybe these celebrities need to relax a little bit and laugh it off. Yet, if they want to waste their time and energy to sue people who haven’t committed heinous crimes go ahead.
