Dave Chappelle Meets With Comedy Central Prez

Good news: Dave Chappelle met with Comedy Central earlier this week, the first time since production stopped on the third season of his Chappelle’s Show.
Bad news: no time table for him to return to the station has been announced.
A network spokesperson said Chappelle met with Comedy Central president Doug Herzog in Los Angeles. He did not say when, or if, Chappelle would return.
Chappelle went to South Africa on a “spiritual retreat,” as he told Time Magazine, before returning to the U.S. about two weeks ago.
Last week, he showed up unannounced at two L.A. comedy clubs and performed sets based on current events.
Season 3 of Chappelle’s Show was to begin May 31 but has been delayed indefinitely.
