This time, the rumours are true. Britney Spears has revealed that she is pregnant, ending weeks of speculation by tabloid magazines.

Spears decided to confirm the most recent pregnancy rumours by making a post on her web site, her outlet of choice since marrying Kevin Federline.

“The time has finally come to share our wonderful news that we are expecting our first child together,” Spears writes.

“There are reports that I was in the hospital this weekend,” she continues. “Kevin and I just want everyone to know that all is well.”

This will be Spears’ first child; Federline’s third.

Rumours of Spears’ pregnancy have dated back many years, though since marrying Federline in September, rumours have popped up weekly.

She has been saying she is eager to start a family, recently writing on her site that she “can’t wait to start a family.”

Spears and Federline announced last week that they would be part of a reality show on UPN, debuting in May.
