Slash Performs Anthem at Jays Game

Wearing half a Toronto Blue Jays jersey and half a Boston Red Sox jersey, guitar legend Slash performed the American and Canadian national anthems at a game between the two teams Friday night in Toronto.
Slash, taking a break from his current North American tour with Velvet Revolver, walked onto the field with his signature large black hat, as the two teams stood opposite each other on the base lines.
He kept the anthems basic, but added his own improved twist at the end of the Canadian anthem.
The Jays entertained a nearly sold out crowd at this, its home opener, and first home game since renaming their SkyDome stadium the Rogers Centre.
The Trailer Park Boys threw out the first pitch, before the Jays lost.
