Before the rumor quickly spreads throughout the Internet and entertainment circuit let me immediately extinguish it. Jon Heder, the actor who played the infamous Napoleon Dynamite has not died.

Rumors swirled around the actor?s death back in January but were never made as public as over the past few days that he was involved in a tragic auto accident or drug overdose. Nothing could be further from the truth; in fact he has recently wrapped several films and was on the Tonight Show last month. Heder was even interviewed and when asked about his own demise he replied, ?Yeah, and apparently it?s not true.”

So for everyone that might be upset over this falsehood hopefully I have offered some immediate comfort and closure to this idiotic and disturbing rumor.
