Tara Reid, the actress from American Pie and other less memorable films, is suing a Las Vegas company over an advertisement that read, “Dear Tara Reid, Come Let It All Hang Out.”

She says this is in reference to an incident on a red carpet late last year, when she arrived for P. Diddy’s birthday party and her breast flew out of her shirt. She didn’t realize it until after hoards of cameras took pictures. Tearful, she begged for them to erase their pictures, but internet nerds will attest that her pleads did not work.

She filed her suit on Wednesday against Sky Las Vegas Condominiums Inc. to stop the ad they are using in “Vegas” Magazine.

It has caused her ” humiliation, embarrassment, hurt feelings, mental anguish and suffering,” she said. She said that the ad implies she bared her breast on purpose. Because, no way, she would never do that (note: see some of her past films where it certainly looks like a younger and nude Reid).

The company was not speaking to reporters this week, but they must be thrilled that their little ad in a Vegas paper is getting national attention. I’m not thinking of moving to Vegas, but if I were, I might consider Sky Las Vegas Condominiums. I hear they have a good sense of humour.

And here’s the irony. When she filed the suit, she said the ad puts “her in a false light in the public eye.” Had she not filed the suit, we would have never heard about this ad to begin with. Dear Tara, Come Let? actually never mind; we don’t want to get sued.
