Scary Movie star Anna Faris has agreed to star in the latest installment of the successful comedy franchise thus reprising the lead role of the ditsy wide-eyed Cindy Campbell. Dimension Films will once again produce the sequel.

David Zucker will climb into the director?s chair for the 4th film marking his return after his Scary Movie 3 earned over 110 million domestically in 2003. Pat Proft and Craig Mazin, the duo that wrote SM3, are currently writing the script.

The Scary Movie films have grossed over 340 million domestically combined for Dimension & Miramax films.
