Jon Heder, the star of ?Napoleon Dynamite? (one of my personal favorites), has recently landed a lead role opposite David Spade and Rob Schneider in Adam Sandler?s Happy Madison Production?s, ?Benchwarmers.?

Denis Dugan (Happy Gilmore, Big Daddy) is slated to direct and Alan Covert wrote the script with partner Nick Swardson. The film was also star Craig Kilborn and Jon Lovitz.

Variety says the story concerns three guys who try to make up for their lack of athleticism in school by forming a three-man baseball team to challenge youth teams.
