The Michael Jackson child molestation trial in Santa Maria, California, is so bizarre, you can’t write a script that good.

In today’s dose of unbelievable reality, Jackson was late for court and Judge Rodney S. Melville ordered him to show up within an hour or he’d face jail time. Jackson’s lawyer, Thomas Mesereau Jr., explained that Jackson was in hospital because of a bad back (”sudden and serious”, but the judge didn?t budge.

Mesereau was seen frantically trying to get a hold of Jackson. Minutes after the hour deadline expired, Jackson arrived, dressed in pyjamas and wearing slippers, with family by his side holding him up straight.

Oh, and the boy who is accusing Jackson of molesting him was on the stand giving details of what he alleges Jackson did to him, but nobody seemed to notice.

The judge threatened to revoke the $3 million bail and throw Jackson in jail.

This is not the first time (and probably not the last) that Jackson has delayed his trial. Last month, he delayed the case by a week during jury selection when he was in hospital battling the flu.

Anyway, the boy was on the stand for the second day. He said Jackson and his employees at the Neverland Ranch showed the boy and his younger brother pornography on the internet. He also said they slept in the same bed as Jackson.

He also said Jackson gave him wine, which the pop singer called “Jesus Juice.”

Tom Sneddon, the District Attorney who Jackson says is out to get him, asked the boy, who had a kidney removed being of cancer, if he told Jackson that he had just one kidney before drinking the wine.

“I told him it was bad for me to drink alcohol and he said it was OK, nothing was going to happen,” he said. “He told me not to tell anyone about the Jesus juice. He said that this is a symbol that we will be friends together.”

He testified that Jackson walked into a room once naked (no slippers, no pyjamas), echoing the same testimony given by his brother earlier this week.

“Me and my brother were kind of like Eww because we never saw a grown man naked before.

However, his brother said Jackson came into the room aroused and told the boys it was natural. The accuser said he came in naked to get something and left?something which is sure to be brought up in cross examination in the coming days as Jackson’s defense team tries to portray the family as liars.
