Computer-Style Samsung Phone Unveiled
The cell phone you have in your pocket will be laughed at in the coming years.
A new Samsung phone will run on Microsoft’s Windows Mobile operating system and even includes a 3 GB hard drive. This phone beats the hell out of some home computers.
This, the SGH-I300 model, was unveiled this week but won?t be available for some time?and when it is released, it will cost you.
Also unveiled was the new SCH-V770 handset, which features a 7 mega pixel camera with a 3 times optical zoom lens. It will also include a hard drive. It will be released in Asia in June, followed by North America at a later date.
These new phones and others were unveiled at the CeBIT technology show in Germany.
Other features from phones include:
-the ability to take high quality video clips and send them to other phones and email addresses in seconds
-the ability to download and play MP3 files on phones
-ability to display 16 million colours, as opposed to the standard 65,000 now
- Animated Instant Voice Messages (text messages with an automated voice)
