M.I.A. Signs with Interscope: Report

Making the most buzz in the music scene is female UK rapper M.I.A. It’s no surprise that she has signed a major label deal.
According to Billboard, M.I.A. has signed with Interscope/Universal, and her debut album will be released in North America in April.
Of course, it’s only going to be released if they can clear up legal issues. The album, “Arular,” was supposed to be released in the UK last month, but her label overseas pulled it from the schedule because of samples that needed to be cleared.
M.I.A., reports Billboard, says her album will not be ready for a March release.
She will be touring North America this Spring.
