Honouring the worst in movies in the year that was, the Razzie Awards were handed out Saturday night, before Sunday’s Oscars.

For just the second time in the history of the non-televised awards show, a winner (well, loser) actually showed up. Halle Berry, just three years after winning an Oscar, picked up her Worst Actress Razzie for her work in Catwoman.

She brought her Oscar award onstage when her name was announced, and carrying her Razzie in the other hand, broke down in fake tears for a minute, in reference to her memorable acceptance speech in 2002.

Berry was in good spirits. “I never in my life thought that I would be here, winning a Razzie. It?s not like I ever aspired to be here, but thank you,” she said. “I hope to God I never see these people again.”

She also made sure to “thank” everyone involved in the film.

“I want to thank Warner Brothers for casting me in this piece of shit. I’d like to thank the rest of the cast. To give a really bad performance like mine you need to have really bad actors.”

And the Razzies made sure to give credit to the rest of the Catwoman staff. The movie also won Worst Director (Pitof), Worst Film and Worst Screenplay.

Berry is in good company. Worst Actor went to George Bush (who sadly wasn?t acting) for his appearances in Michael Moore’s documentary Fahrenheit 9/11. His Defense Secretary, Donald Rumsfeld, won Worst Supporting Actor, while interview footage from Britney Spears in the documentary earned her Worst Supporting Actress. None of them were present.

Tom Green was the only previous winner to attend the show in Los Angeles. He accepted his trophies in 2001 for one of the worst movies ever, Freddy Got Fingered.
