Whitney Houston had to be taken to a Paris hospital after becoming ill on an airplane.

“She was sick on the aircraft,” her publicist, Nancy Seltzer, said. “She is doing well. She has gastroenteritis.”

Houston was treated in the emergency room. According to the BBC, she probably will not have to be admitted.

Houston has been working on her seventh album with Clive Davis, the man responsible for her career.
