Transformers, robots in disguise. After years of rumors and botched scripts the long awaited ?Transformers? has a writing team and will be released in November of 2006. The writers include the duo of Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, who brought us ?The Legend of Zorro,? ?The Island,” and ?Mission Impossible 3,? and have worked on both ?Alias? and ?Xena: Warrior Princess.”

Michael Bay is another who has been making fresh waves in the film pool delving into the horror and thriller genres of filmmaking as of late. His latest ventures include none other than a prequel to the classic Tobe Hooper film, ?The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.”

“I think we’re going to start it in April.” He adds that a cast is not in place yet. “No. We’re going to start looking soon.” He does reveal that R. Lee Ermey will return as Sheriff Hoyt. “Yep. He’s the best, huh?”
