Michael Jackson Rushed to Hospital! Trial Delayed
The Michael Jackson child molestation trial gets more bizarre every day. On Tuesday, Jackson was on his way to the Santa Maria, California, courtroom where the jury selection is underway.
But before he arrived, he had to be rushed to the hospital.
Superior Court Judge Rodney Melville said he would consult with Jackson’s doctors and lawyers later in the day.
Jackson was admitted to the emergency room at Marian Medical Center.
Jackson was scheduled to be in court at 8:30 a.m. At 8:45, Melville told the 100 prospective jurors gathered in court that, “You’ll notice Mr. Jackson is not in court today.”
Jackson has pleaded not guilty to 10 counts.
The case has been delayed. Melville will consult with Jackson’s team before continuing the jury selection.
