Franz, Scissor Sisters, Keane Win Big at Brits
The ?big winner? at the Brit Awards in London, handed out Wednesday, is the Scissor Sisters, but Franz Ferdinand and Keane were not far behind in that unofficial title.
The Scissor Sisters, a U.S. band who have yet to take over the scene stateside quite like they have in the UK, were named International Breakthrough Act, Best International Group and Best International Album.
Franz won Best British Group and Best British Rock Act, while Keane took a break from their U.S. tour to accept Best British Album and British Breakthrough.
Robbie Williams? ?Angel? was named best song of the part 25 years. He performed the song with Joss Stone.
Stone meanwhile won two awards, Best British Female Solo Artist and Best Urban Act.
The Brit Awards air around the world tonight or sometime over the weekend, depending on where you live.
