About one week after Brad Pitt split from his wife of four years, Jennifer Aniston, the A-list actor flew to Japan for the premiere of Ocean’s Twelve.

Pitt participated in a press conference where there reporters had to sign agreements that they would not ask the actor’s any personal questions. They also were only allowed to write or broadcast for the publication or station they were assigned to- in other words, you can’t pitch the story to CNN.

International media, such as major news outlets who flew in to Japan from the U.S. to hear what Pitt had to say, were banned from the press conference.

A memo issued by the movie’s studio said, “Warner Brothers wants to focus on promoting the movie Ocean’s Twelve, and the stars, not on the personal life of Brad Pitt. So given the fact that he is going through difficult time in his relationship, the world’s media is not allowed inside.”

Pitt arrived in Japan late Wednesday night and was greeted by hoards of fans waiting at the airport.

He was wearing black gloves, in case anyone was curious to see what kinds of rings he was wearing- or not wearing.

Aniston, meanwhile, shot scenes on Wednesday in Santa Monica for her next movie, “Friends With Money,” with Frances McDormand.

The couple announced their split Friday night. They met seven years ago on a blind dinner date. Pitt reportedly wanted to have a baby while Aniston wanted to focus on her acting career.
