Meet the Focker’s Remains at the Top For A Second Straight Week
‘Meet the Fockers’ was the number one movie for the second week in a row, earning $42.8 million. It has now earned a total of $163.4 million, just shy of the $166 million ‘Meet the Parents’ earned in total.
‘Meet the Fockers’ also set two one day records. On New Year’s Eve, the film brought in $12.2 million, surpassing the old record of $8.5 million set by the film ‘Cast Away’, and on New Year’s Day, brought in $18 million, compared with the $12.8 million from ‘The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King’ .
Lemony Snicket, starring Jim Carrey, took home second place this weekend with $14.7 million, while The Aviator, starring Leonardo DiCaprio took in $11.2 million.

4. “Fat Albert,” $10.7 million.
5. “Ocean’s Twelve,” $9.2 million.

9. “Phantom of the Opera,” $4.8 million.
10. “Darkness,” $4.5 million.
