Remy Martin, the female voice in the summer?s hottest song, ?Lean Back,? was sent to hospital Friday morning after being involved in a car crash in New Jersey.

She sustained minor injuries, according to MTV, and was released on Sunday.

She was driving a new BMW 645i Coupe while Christmas shopping and was hit head-on by another car, her manager told MTV.

Martin, a member of Fat Joe?s Terror Squad, is working on her debut solo album, ?There’s Something About Remy: Based on a True Story,? due out in the spring.
