When releasing new music today, half the battle is online promotion. However, contests, signed merch and giveaways aren’t always the best solutions. When working on their latest album, Hedley came up with a brilliant idea, they decided to make trailers.
It’s hard to prepare for an interview with Hedley. So in this interview, we threw caution to the wind, got a 24 of beer and broadcast the interview live on our USTREAM (andPOP.tv). Eventually Jacob, Dave and @jordans_life ended up talking about hairy legs, their newest music video and more.

Would you be embarrassed if someone scrolled through your iPod? We sit down with Spee and Brendan to talk about the diverse music on their playlist.
Despite new MP3 players popping up constantly, the iPod is still the best selling digital music player on the market today.
With its steep price, and easily scratched body, protecting your iPod should be one of your top priorities. Luckily for iPod owners, Matias Corporation has that on their mind. With products like Laptop Armor, Pocket Armor, Armor Clip and the product we are reviewing, iPod Armor, Matias has undoubtedly filled a niche market for people who want to protect their expensive electronics. Their goal is to provide the best protection possible, but in a nice, elegant way, preserving the look and feel of your product.
The iPod Armor is a great way to protect your iPod from scratches, and potentially worse. For day-to-day use, we found that the iPod Armor became a little bit of an inconvenience. The case makes the iPod slightly heavier and bulkier. Using it without a belt clip means it’s either in your pocket (better hope you have one) or in your hand. Accessing the iPod, or even looking at the display, requires the case to be opened (though this isn’t much of a chore; it becomes annoying if you do not have a remote and are constantly changing volume or songs). It is obvious that this case was not built for everyday use, but on the other hand, this is the best case anyone could ask for if they were travelling, doing vigorous activities, or leaving their iPod in a bag. This case allows for your iPod to be in its best conditions, no matter what you are doing.
Pros
-Will protect your iPod better than any other case available for the iPod today
-The iPod case works with any generation iPod (Not including the iPod mini or Photo, read next)
-Their iPod mini case let’s you view the screen when the case is shut
-Lightweight enough that it won’t bug you in a bag
Cons
-No easy access to iPod when the case is closed
-Except for the mini case, no easy access to any of the iPods features except for the hold button
-May bug you when in your pocket
-No belt clip included (you must purchase one for $10)
Overall 4/5
This is a great case and a great concept which is surely to improve over time. This case can only get better. In the future, I would like to see at least the ability to see the screen when the case is closed, like in the mini version. Similarly, a belt clip should be included with the case. Other than that, this product does exactly what it was designed and intended to do. It will protect your iPod better than any other case. This is definitely one iPod case that I would rate is worth buying, but like any other iPod case that has a specific use, I would recommend having at least one other iPod case for regular everyday
use.
